The clients, after 32 years, wanted a change in their house. The main requirement was to create a new modern, and warm atmosphere in the apartment, with the wood being the main material, while creating a home-office in the living room. Yet ergonomics and functionality have guided the design. The love for the wood comes from their love for nature. Nature itself, like plants, could not exist in the apartment, as it is located on the first floor in the city centre and the sunlight is quite limited. The apartment includes a patio, so they can grow their garden there.

It has required a renovation of the whole house, but budget limits have spattered the project into 3 parts. Part 1 is the only one that has been fully designed, which is the living room and the kitchen. Part 2 is the bedrooms and bathrooms. And part 3 is the patio.
